Since starting the traditional office job life, I’ve noticed a number of commonalities. One of these is the frequent disappearance of office chairs – a particular problem for open plan offices. For highly unscrupulous offices, if you’re out at a long meeting, the chair will vanish. There are only a few ways to ensure yours isn’t stolen: get a very expensive ergonomic chair that, when stolen, shames a person into oblivion. The other way is to tie the chair to your desk.
The point is chairs are fleeting. Such is life.
