So criticism. The majority of people don’t like it from what I understand. I met a few people that seek critique even if it hurts because it’ll make them better. I have a natural tendency to shrink away from it. In school, you kind of had to face it, but in adulthood, you can actually avoid it if you want to. I can easily say that critiquing was the scariest part of the idea of art school and probably a contributing factor in not going. Maybe it was a good idea not to go, maybe not. I dunno, but I’m here now so it’s just about going forward. I found this Aristotle quote and thought it really nice. Do you avoid criticism even when you know it’ll be constructive?
